Caseiro Burke is proud to announce the hiring of Nick McCrillis as Caseiro Burke's new Associate Attorney. Mr. McCrillis graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in May 2021. While in law school, Mr. McCrillis focused his studies on business and tax law while clerking for Managing Attorney, Chris Caseiro, on patent related matters. Prior to attending Maine Law, Mr. McCrillis spent 10 years in various roles at a national bank in Commercial and Specialty Lending, Commercial Credit, and Commercial Workout. His experience in banking centered around financial, credit, and collateral analysis, loan documentation, and security agreements for companies across a wide variety of industries. His prior experience with the loan documentation process from within the bank gives him a unique perspective to both understand his bank clients' needs and priorities along with bringing real lending experience to his individual clients. Mr. McCrillis obtained his Bachelor Degree in Biology from the University of Maine. Since joining the firm, Mr. McCrillis has registered with the United States Tax Court and intends to be a registered patent attorney in the near future. 

Mr. McCrillis will be working closely with Mr. Caseiro on all patent matters for the firm. He will also be assisting Mr. Burke on all cannabis related business matters for the firm. With Mr. McCrillis experience, we also look forward to expanding our firm's services to tax law and commercial lending law related matters in 2022.
